Ingredients

1-pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 inch piece of ginger, peeled and minced

1 red bell pepper, sliced

1 yellow bell pepper, sliced

1 cup snow peas

1 small onion, sliced

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon oyster sauce

1 tablespoon hoisin sauce

1 teaspoon sesame oil

Sea salt and pepper to taste

Cooked rice, for serving

Instructions

Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large wok or skillet over high heat.

Add the shrimp and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until they turn pink and opaque. Remove the shrimp from the wok and set aside.

Add the remaining tablespoon of oil to the wok. Add the garlic and ginger and stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

Add the bell peppers, snow peas, and onion to the wok. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until the vegetables are crisp-tender.

Return the shrimp to the wok and add the soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, and sesame oil. Stir well to combine.

Season with sea salt and pepper to taste.

Cook for another minute or until everything is heated through.

Serve the shrimp stir-fry over cooked rice.
