Grouper Sandwich with Mango Slaw

Grouper Sandwich with Mango Slaw

A grouper sandwich with mango slaw is a classic Florida dish, and a delicious and refreshing meal that combines the flavors of crispy fish with a tangy and tropical slaw. Here’s a recipe to guide you in making this mouthwatering dish.

Ingredients

4 grouper filets (6 ounces each)

Tone’s rosemary, garlic seasoning

1 cup (more if needed) tartar sauce

2 ½ cups shredded purple cabbage and carrots (can use packaged coleslaw mix)

1 cup diced mango

⅛ teaspoon sea salt

4 sandwich rolls

Instructions

Add the cabbage, carrots, and mango to the tartar sauce. Toss to combine.

Sprinkle both sides of the fish with sea salt and Tone’s rosemary, garlic seasoning and rub it in. Heat the oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat and add the grouper. Cook for 4 minutes then carefully flip the pieces over and cook for another 3-4 minutes or until the fish is cooked through.

To assemble the sandwiches, place each piece of grouper on a roll bottom and top with a dollop of mango slaw. Add the roll tops and serve. Enjoy!
