Smoked Salmon Sandwich

Smoked Salmon Sandwich

Here’s a recipe for a delicious smoked salmon sandwich with sliced cucumber, dill, onions, sundried tomatoes, mustard, and dill sauce on a brioche bun

Ingredients

4 brioche buns

8 ounces (225 grams) smoked salmon

1 small cucumber, thinly sliced

1 small red onion, thinly sliced

4-6 sundried tomatoes, thinly sliced

Dill sprigs, for garnish

For the mustard and dill sauce

1/2 cup mayonnaise

2 tablespoons Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped

Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Slice the brioche buns in half and place them on a baking sheet. Toast them in the oven for about 5 minutes until lightly golden. Remove from the oven and set aside.

In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, chopped dill, salt, and pepper to make the mustard and dill sauce. Set aside.

Take the bottom half of each brioche bun and spread a generous amount of the mustard and dill sauce on it.

Layer the smoked salmon on top of the sauce, dividing it equally among the buns.

Arrange the sliced cucumber, red onion, and sundried tomatoes on top of the smoked salmon.

Place the top half of the brioche bun on each sandwich and press down gently.

Garnish each sandwich with a dill sprig.

Your smoked salmon sandwich with sliced cucumber, dill, onions, sundried tomatoes, mustard, and dill sauce on a brioche bun is now ready to be enjoyed! Serve it as a light lunch or a delicious picnic treat.
