Tonkotsu Ramen Soup
If there ever was a soup you could truly make a meal out of, ramen is it. It is so versatile, you can customize it to your own taste.
Tonkotsu ramen is made from a rich pork bone broth.
Tonkotsu broth is also silky, and has pretty significant fat content. It leaves a certain mouth feel that can’t really be duplicated in other ways. Traditional tonkotsu broth is cooked for at least 12 hours on the stove top. It is everything you want a tonkotsu broth to be, and more.
My tonkotsu broth is a concentrate (pack of 10) by Kitchen Kurume. You can buy it on Amazon.
If you are looking for a good pre-made ramen noodle, I would recommend the J-Basket Japanese Ramen noodles. You can order them on Amazon.
