Prawns with Trader Joe’s Chimichurri Rice

Prawns, Lobster Bisque and Trader Joe’s Chimichurri Rice

While very similar in appearance, shrimp and prawns are two distinct species. Prawns tend to be larger than shrimp, and often taste sweeter. There are more varieties of shrimp, too. Both animals have 10 legs, but prawns have pincers on three pairs of legs, while shrimp just have one clawed duo.

One of the easiest ways to cook Prawn is a simple saute’ on the skillet.

Ingredients

4 Prawn (Slice the Prawn into halves. This will make sure that the Prawn are perfectly sauteed and cooked in a jiffy).

2 tbsp Tone’s rosemary, garlic seasoning

2 tbsp Olive oil

1 tsp Sea salt

1 tbsp Hoisin sauce

½ cup chopped cilantro (Use half for sauteing, the other half for garnish)

Lobster bisque

Add all ingredients into skillet except lobster bisque.

Mix well.

Directions

Slice the Prawn into halves. This will make sure that the Prawn are perfectly sauteed and cooked in a jiffy.

Add Prawns.

Freshwater prawn have big heads and firm tails. The shell and head add so much flavor.

Saute’ until Prawn turn orange.

Do not over cook.

It’s just a matter of simple sauteing to bring out the briny flavors.

These sauteed Prawn are juicy and bursting with flavors.

In a pot add the lobster bisque with rosemary, garlic, sea salt, stir while heating. Then pour over Prawn. sprinkle remaining cilantro.

It’s that easy! Dig in and enjoy the Prawn. Enjoy!
